KLEZMER CLARINET

For several years, I have been  specialising in Klezmer on the clarinet and other instruments - that is, Jewish folk music from Eastern Europe with its multitude of influences from around Europe and Asia. From mournful horas and doinas to wild freylekhs and bulgars, the music of the East European Jewish traditions is powerful and emotive, evoking feelings of long-distant places and times.

I can provide suitable music for Jewish events such as weddings, barmitzvahs and batmitzvahs, parties and celebrations of all kinds. From the arrival of the guests and the reception, through to the dancing and partying, the music will help to create an atmosphere of joy and excitement. We can work as a duo with clarinet and guitar or accordion, a trio with added percussion or double bass, or a larger ensemble.
